As household animals, people around the world raise incredible creatures other than cats and dogs. This is a list of adorable pets that people would like to have, but the idea might not be that great.

Wonderae made a list of strange and cute pets that are very different from the norm. A lot of people would love to have them as pets, but it might not be such a good idea after all.

#1 Blue Glaucus

Blue Glaucus, also known as “blue angel”, “blue dragon”, and “sea swallow”. Can grow up to 3cm (1.5″) long. To avoid predators they can camouflage and they live in tropical waters.

#2 Dragon Lizard

They were found in South America’s Andes quite recently during an expedition. It is a wood lizard also known as “dwarf dragons”, who really looks like a tiny dragon. Mostly active during the daytime. Would you like one?

#3 Mantis shrimp

No one would willingly try a shrimp cocktail with this one. They are of various colours and shapes and looks gorgeous in any type. Peacock Mantis shrimps are more flashy than others like in the picture. They are saltwater (marine) shrimps kept in captivity and are also called Aquaria.

#4 Orange Tortoise Spider

This colorful spider is perfect for someone who loves tiny unexpected pets. This encyosaccus sexmacculatus usually can be found in the upper Amazon basin in Ecuador, Brazil, and Peru. A lot of heat is needed in their habitats.

This lovely thing is not like other adorable pandas, they are sometimes known by the name of “lesser panda”. Looks as a perfect mix of a cat and a bear. A few years ago they took the internet by storm with their affectionate and funny behavior. It is reckless to have them at home as they are on the endangered list.

#6 Blue Parrotfish

Fish with a smiley face! Anyone would replace their goldfish for them. But as a problem, you need a big fish tank as they grow up to 1.2m in length and weight up to 20lb.

A mountain goat, but has gorgeous fur, unlike the other goats.

#8 Lli Pika

They look the same as short-eared mountain rabbits, but lli pika is an endangered species and has no connections to rabbits or rabbit genetics. They can weight up to 250g as they are very small and has red spots on the forehead, crown, and neck.

Just by looking at them, you can know why people love these lazy, hairy, wide-eyed creatures. They are adorable and even have a fandom in YouTube. They are also in comics and fan fiction too.

#10 Quokka

If you need one, you need to be in Australia and if you are not scared of strict habitat rules you can dare to have one who is named as “the happiest animal in the world”.

#11 Baby Snake

This tiny little snakes are perfect to those who love cold-blooded animals. They are quite unique and adorable in their own ways though it is a baby in the picture. But sometimes you will have to fees them with mice too.

#12 Hedgehog

Looks really like mice with a cute face ane needles in back. They are so nice to have around and they have distinctive facial expressions too. They live in forests and parks and they don’t eat apples like you see in fairly tales as they are carnivorous creatures.

We avoid this black and white oversized stinky squirrels but they are cute when they are tiny little babies. So people without a sense of smell can have them as a pet for sure.

Habitat with a small area is adorably awkward for this quite tamed unusual animal. Slightly looks like a cross between an elephant and a pig with distinctive colors.

#15 Mini Pig

The mini pig pet fashion which came out a few years ago due these piglets can be seen even now on the streets. Should we blame them?
