As beautiful as nature can be, it has a lot of magical things that will vanish away after brief moments. The main goals of the “Nature inFocus” photo competition are to show these photos and moments and to keep them safe. This is a call to all the great photographers of nature in the world.
For the seventh year in a row, the winners and finalists of this competition were announced on November 22 at an online ceremony. This year, about 18,000 photos from photographers in 40 countries from all over the world were sent into the contest. The contest’s main goal is to find photos showing conservation efforts and historical moments in nature.
Radha Rangarajan, in charge of the competition, told Bored Panda that every year, the winners are chosen by a jury that looks through all of the submissions. The jury decides the finalists and winners based on how original, creative, artistic, technically skilled, and well put together the work is.
As much as this competition loves nature and all of its parts, it also gives all nature photographers a chance to show off their skills and creativity. Every year, a lot of people enter this competition, which shows how interested they are, and it keeps getting bigger.
Since the announcements were made on November 22, we thought we’d show you some photos of the finalists. You can look at the pictures we’ve listed below. Make sure to leave a comment with your thoughts and ideas.
