Dogs are very loyal, so it makes sense that they are called “Man’s Best Friend.” When they get lost, they usually always find their way back home. In Argentina, a dog has shown that it is very loyal to its owner. Tony was heartbroken when his owner got hurt, and he thought he would never see him again.
Jesus Hueche was trimming and pruning a tree in his front yard when he slipped and fell about 6 feet, hitting his head on the concrete sidewalk and knocking himself out. His family and neighbors around him saw what was going on, so he wasn’t alone in the trouble.
Tony, his faithful dog friend, came to help, hugged his owner when he fell, and never left his side. When the paramedics finally got there, he was still hugging his owner.
Tony didn’t leave his owner while the paramedics helped Jesus and put a neck brace on him. He was very worried. Jesus finally woke up and patted Tony on the back to let his loyal friend know he was okay. Tony did not move, though.
Tony wanted to help put Mr. Hueche in the ambulance when it was time. He didn’t give up and tried to get in with him.
The faithful dog and his owner didn’t have to be apart for long. Jesus was only slightly hurt, and later that day he was set free and reunited with his loyal and beloved dog.
Images of Tony’s rescue and loyalty were posted on social media, and they quickly went viral. Local radio station La Brujula 24 talked to Jesus Hueche and found out how he saved a stray dog who turned out to be a good friend.
“One day, we saw him on the street and adopted him, gave him love, food, and [he] is part of our family,” Hueche told the station. “For me, he’s like a son.”
Dogs can show their owners just how much they mean to them in the sweetest of ways. And for Tony, his dad clearly means the world.
