May be you haven’t heard before but tree kangaroo is the national animal of Australia. They are same as the regular kangaroos but they look like small bears and very fluffy too. Tree kangaroos can be found in lowland and mountainous forests of Northern Australia, Papua New Guinea and in Indonesia.
Tree kangaroos have strong front arms which help them to climb trees as they feel very comfortable when living on trees. As they have short legs they looks a bit like Lemurs.
Because they are so rare and beautiful, they take the interest of many people around the world. A glimmer of hope was given in 2016 after 36 years, that was the first birth of a tree kangaroo in a zoo.
