These Raccoons Are Artists Who Use Their Tiny Paws To Make Abstract Paintings.

When looking into Piper and Cheeto’s work, it seems that abstract painting is a natural ability of raccoons. These two raccoons use their legs to create works of art which makes it a special ability for them. Their owners, Mitchell and Sarah Thyme fostered their spirit of creativity. They gave these creative animals a space to create their masterpieces with paint and canvas.

After observing the behavior of these animals, Thymes came up with this painting idea. They observed that they were touching things to gather sensory information with their hands and thought that painting might be a fun activity.

Many colourful raccoon tracks can be seen on each canvas and some even have few aesthetic scattered marks while other canvas have mixed pigments with artistic spots. As Piper and Cheeto, the paintings too look unique as each of them has its own unique style.

From Thymes’ website “Tito the Raccoon”(Tito was the name of the raccoon who passed away some time ago.), You are able to buy this raccoon painting. There is no set amount of time to make a painting as the raccoons paint only when they feel to. So it is unknown when they will create new ones and at the moment most of the paintings are sold out too.
