Meet Peabody, a rescued miniature horse. People think that these horses are deformed and that they only have a short life span. Most people give up on them. Not Peabody, though. He got very lucky. Faith Smith is a kind woman with a golden heart. When she heard that this 6-week-old miniature horse needed help, she drove there right away. A miniature horse usually weighs between 150 and 350 pounds, but this one was about 19 pounds. It was about as big as a dog. Peabody’s mother didn’t want him because he was too small. Horses don’t like babies that are too small. So, Peabody had a hard start because he was so small until Faith found him.

She knows how to take care of miniature horses. So she knew how to take care of the horse and train it to do simple things like walk and run. Peabody’s jaw isn’t in the right place, but over time, with the right care and love, his body started to grow in the right way.

Now he lives in Faith’s house with her dogs and is a happy little horse. These animals get along really well and love to hang out together.
