The black-throated bushtit, which is also known as the black-throated tit, is a small passerine bird in the Aegithalidae family. There are currently six known subspecies of this species.
This bird is about 4–9 grams and 10.5 cm long. Even though the feathers on each subspecies are very different, they all have a medium-length tail, a black throat, and a black “bandit mask” around the eye. It usually lives in pine forests and open broadleaf forests in the middle elevations. Most of the time, black-throated tits eat fruits and small insects.
A Taiwanese wildlife photographer named Chen Chengguang has taken some beautiful pictures of these birds. He took a beautiful picture of this beautiful bird’s feathers, and you can’t help but think about how it would feel to pet one of these cute, fluffy little birds.
